Exciting things are happening around
the studio these days. We're now working with Muletrain Records and helping to put on a 3 Day event called Mulefest. This
will be a grand opening and the first in a series of various artist showcases held in The Green Room. For more info check
out the Muletrain Myspace site www.myspace.com/muletrain records . Muletrainrecords.com is also being built so keep an eye
out. Also we'll be in Atlantic City next month recording blues artist Pamela Betti live at The Tropicana hotel. Check her

Dave Brubeck.
So the studio just got hired in to
record all time jazz great Dave Brubeck for his shows at UGA. Very cool concert series and a lot of fun. Thursday night was
sold out and Wednesday was pretty close. We were really excited to get this chance and just got done mixing it all down. Keep
a listen on NPR and GPB for these shows. They haven't released them to the radio yet, but we'll definitely post dates and
times if these for those who couldn't be there in person. |

NEW FUN TOYS!!!!!
Okay just one new fun toy, but really
cool either way. We just got in an awesome new keyboard. It's an Alesis QS8. We still have the cool old ensoniq, but this
is definitely a cool new addition to the studio. For those that don't know, it's a full size 88 weighted key keyboard. It
has all sorts of cool sounds as well as a lot of really fun samples to play with. It's really the top of the line Alesis keyboard
and we're already having some good times seeing what it can do. |

The vocal booth is done! Yes Brian and
I finally got the inspiration again to build. We have now completed the
vocal booth and it's freakin' awesome. The acoustics in the room are freaky frightening. It's a completely dead room that
leaves recordings crystal clear. You'll swear the sound is going to jump through the speaker at you. It's a beautiful
thing and we're both happy to have another room complete.
More News! Athens Dustbowl: A concert
to raise awareness of drought and water conservation issues in northeast Georgia. Sponsored by the Georgia River Network and
R.E.M. dreamLab Recording will be helping out with this event and doing live recording for the bands involved.
The date is November 27th at the 40Watt. So come on out and show you care. For more info go to www.sandworms.org

Well, we finally got the live room and the control room
built and up and running. The place is looking great and we're really excited to get to start playing around with all the
toys. We just finished a live orchestra recording project and are working on a couple of new projects for the next couple
of weeks. Make sure to check back with the website often as we'll be updating it as much as possible.
Thanks for stopping in.

We're Here!!!!!
Hey everybody, Thanks for joining us. I'd like to take this opportunity
to let everybody know a little about us and what we do. We are a new recording studio opening up on the east side of Athens.
We're looking at being a full production company offering everything from live sound to the first steps of recording to mixing,
mastering, duplication and packaging. Right now we're in our first stages of constructing the studio and plan to be open in
the fall. As we progress we'll be posting more and more pics of what we have going on. Right now we're in the process of building
the live room and will be starting on the control room soon. In the meantime feel free send us messages on myspace or e-mail
us at dreamlabstudio@yahoo.com. We are currently able to run live sound for anybody needing it. We have a full PA system
complete with main and subs as well as the main mix and four monitor mixes and enough power to fill most mid size venues around
town. Ultimately we plan on being able to run live recording sessions as well as studio. We also offer minor repairs
on instuments, amp, mics and other gear. Thanks for taking the time to check us out. Take Care, Mike and Brian. |
